3D Scanning

The digital replica of reality

What is 3D scanning really?

With our precision 3D scanning services, we digitize physical objects by creating millimeter-accurate three-dimensional models. During the process, a detailed point cloud is captured from the object’s surface, which is then processed and refined to produce an accurately reproducible digital replica.

This solution is especially useful for reverse engineering existing parts, dimensional inspection, design modifications, or documentation purposes—delivered quickly, reliably, and without distortion.

How does the 3D scanning process work?

1.

Consultation and needs assessment

First, we define what needs to be digitized and the intended use of the 3D model (design, manufacturing, documentation). Based on this, we select the most suitable scanning method and file format.

2.

Object intake or on-site inspection

The object to be scanned can be delivered to us, or—if required—we perform the measurement on-site. We prepare the object according to the environment to ensure maximum scanning accuracy.

3.

3D scanning

The physical object is captured using high-precision 3D scanners, digitizing the surface geometry into a point cloud. Every detail is recorded in high resolution, accurately and without distortion.

4.

Data processing and model creation

The raw point cloud is processed, cleaned, and converted into a unified 3D model. If needed, we perform surface modeling, smoothing, or error correction so the model is ready for further design or manufacturing.

5.

Model delivery and consultation

The completed model is delivered in the requested format, and we provide guidance on possible next steps and applications if required.
